New Orleans and "Deep Brass" covers of the Game of Thrones theme

Robert T. Gonzalez at io9 posted these covers today. The first is the culmination of a one year project by tuba and cimbasso player Andrew Bove. Bove wanted to create a epic piece of music with an "extra low" brass section. It took him nearly a year to bring together the players and choose the song but the result is, probably, the most epic version of the Game of Thrones theme song to date.

Gonzales also tagged on a New Orleans Jazz version by the The New Orleans Swamp Donkeys.

Now that the show is officially on hiatus for another year, you might want to check out this list to keep up with what the kids from the show get up to between now and March.
