This is actually a bit of a trick because I'm actually suggesting that you read two articles, one of which quotes the other.
The first, from Annalee Newitz, at io9 "It Seems More and More Certain That We Live in a Multiverse" and the second by Sean Carroll at the New York Times "When Nature Looks Unnatural". The articles deal with the idea of multiple universes.
As I said yesterday, when I try to get a mental picture of this universe in it's entirety it makes me feel slightly high. Trying to imagine billions of stars in each of billions of galaxy in each of billions of universes almost overloads my head but still, it's a legal high and it's fun to try and imagine.
(Just please, please stop trying to include it in television series. As soon as you get multiple versions of the same character in the same story it gets old fast.)
