From the NASAtelevision YouTube Channel, NASA officials and scientists discuss their next Mars mission. The Maven satellite will launch in just under a month (on November 18). Maven's mission will be to run tests on the Mars atmosphere to try to determine where it's at now, what it may have been like in the past and what happened in between. This mission will be of special interest to the many Mars colony missions that are being planned. Potential colonists will, almost unanimously, enjoy Mars more if there is an atmosphere or at least the possibility of creating one.

Who knows, Maven's tests may even tell us something about our own atmosphere.
