Learn to Speak Dothraki

The Dothraki language appears poised to take its place alongside Klingon and Elvish as an official language of nerdom. Today, the Guardian posted an interview with David J Peterson who created the language for Game of Thrones, as well as Irathient and Castithan for the new Syfy series Defiance.

The Guardian interview wasn't really all that instructive but it made me wonder: There are a lot of nerds out there, with a lot of time on their hands, surely someone is working on this. I was right. So, if you'd like to get a jump on your Dothraki vocabulary ahead of Comicon or if you'd just like to improve your odds of finding your dragons, here are a few resources to help you out:

Dothraki.org would be a great place to start. From there your can download the (unofficial) Dothraki Dictionary (PDf - Currently Version 3.071) and check out the Learning Dothraki wiki. You can also get some helpful pointers on the regularly updated Dothraki.com blog and the Game of Thrones Reddit.

If you prefer video just Search for "How to Speak Dothraki on YouTube". Some of the videos are better than others but there are dozens that at least attempt to be helpful, including additional interviews with language creator David J Peterson.
