The Art of Copyright Trolling: Obscure Films May be More Likely to Get You Sued

Techcruch has a story today about the inner workings of a copyright troll agency. It basically works like this: First the troll or trolls get the rights to a movie that has flopped horribly. Next the agency makes sure that the movie is available on torrent sites, then the agency sues or threatens to sue anyone who downloads the movie. This frequently results in more money than the movie made at the box office. All of this is perfectly legal, but shouldn't be.
