Sight : A great, minimalist, sci-fi short

The great thing about Sight is that, as Cory Doctorow points out on Boing Boing, technology isn't a "larger-than-life operatic prop" but rather a natural, organic part of the film. It also deviates from what many consider sci-fi in that there are no aliens, no space ships, no lasers or fight scenes or threats to the planet. It is a small slice of, what may become, life in the very near future and the technology involved is a hairs breadth from being reality.

Sight was created by Eran May-raz and Daniel Lazo. More information on the film is available on Vimeo.
